Nam Jun Paik (1932-2006) He was the first to coin the term “Electronic Super Highway” and is considered the father of media art. His practice focused on televisions, synths, reflective surfaces and bright colours. I want this collection to emulate his work and himself as a person- “ controlled chaos” in combination with the grunge and vaporwave aesthetic. Nam’s wardrobe is also atheistic in interests. He wore a lot of oversized tailored suits and shirts and drape fabric and scarves onto his look.
